We came across The Lit Kitchen Jaipur, while cruising through our feed.
Started post the lockdown in May 2020, The Lit Kitchen offers the perfect combination of Lebanese, Italian and Thai cuisine with vegetarian ingredients.
We thought we’ll call in for some Saturday evening dinner & also shoot some droolworthy pictures while we’re at it.
Delicious and actually LIT, Shefali and her team firmly believe that everything starts with simply choosing the right ingredients. This is why they ensure that they source only fresh ingredients for their preparations which was very evident from the freshness of the Tabbouleh Salad which we devoured in seconds. Another thing we liked is that they do not pre-add salt to it which keeps it fresh way longer.
We also had the falafel platter which was just perfect for our weekend craving. The hummus is delicious, authentic and creamy. We seriously can’t think of anyone else who makes such good hummus in Jaipur.
The pita bread is freshly made and kneaded and makes for a perfect side.
The traditional falafel balls made were crunchy, delicious and was truly hearty and flavourful. Just by taking a bite of the food, you can realise the heart Shefali puts in her cooking.
Everything was made complete with their lip-smacking Tahini, hot sauce and green chilli dips.
Ooh, how can we forget, the donuts. They come with a variety of sprinkles, and the chocolate is melt-in-your-mouth and instantly devourable. Mmmm…
What’s more? It comes in recyclable packaging which is super convenient to repack and store in case of leftovers.
If we were to describe The Lit Kitchen in one word, we’d definitely fall short of options, but we will simply settle for AUTHENTIC. Must try the food for yourself to know it. For orders: instagram.com/thelitkitchenjaipur, or Call / Whatsapp +91 90247 40066
